MoreVisibility, a search engine optimization and marketing firm, has launched its new, full-service affiliate marketing program.
Cost-per-click marketing has become increasingly more competitive in terms of the bidding on keywords, said Danielle Leitch, EVP of MoreVisibility. “The price point really has become an issue for a lot of advertisers — in terms of making it work from an ROI perspective,” she added.
As a result, more advertisers are looking outside the box for other opportunities like affiliate marketing, Leitch said. “It’s not going to replace cost-per-click marketing, because I wouldn’t necessarily recommend that as a strategy anyway, but it’s more to supplement it.”
The firm decided to launch the new program after a client requested it.
Because MoreVisibility understands what its clients’ other online marketing agendas are and what their conversion rates should be, the firm understands what it can offer to pay an affiliate, she continued. “I think it’s a good complement when you have an agency that can balance both things for you,” she said.
To support the new program, MoreVisibility has increased its staff by about 15%, Leitch said. MoreVisibility, founded in 1999, is based in Boca Raton, FL. Its clients include Sony, The Mayo Clinic and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
