Yield Software launches search management tool for SMBs

Yield Software has launched its Yield Web Marketing Suite, a tool that allows search marketers to better optimize and track their paid search, natural search and landing pages.

The product is ideal for small to midsized businesses, said Derek Gordon, VP of marketing for Yield Software. “There are a lot of search marketing dollars sitting on the sidelines because people are intimidated by search marketing or afraid of the time or expense associated with it,” he said, “so we eliminate the jargon and make it easy to use.”

The application operates under a single dashboard and allows marketers to manage their online campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Microsoft’s Live Search.

For paid search, users can set up PPC campaigns, track keywords and monitor budgets. The application also suggests keywords based on Web site and competitive analysis. For landing page optimization it uses multivariate testing and automatically displays the most successful versions of a landing page to increase conversions. There are also options for more complex functions like geotargeting and dayparting.

Yield is currently offering a free 30-day trial for new subscribers. After the trial period, pricing starts at $129 a month and increases based on search budget and number of landing pages.

Companies that have been using the software in beta form include search agency PeriscopeUp, business software BrainKeeper and shipping software Teapplix.

The application was announced at the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco.

Yield Software is backed by WPP and DFJ.
