Woman’s Day launches online radio station

Woman’s Day, published by Hachette Filipacchi Media US, has launched an online talk radio station, RadioWD, in partnership with BlogTalkRadio, among the world’s largest citizen broadcasting networks.

Hosted by Woman’s Day editors, RadioWD airs live, 30-minute daily talk shows. The schedule  includes programs on food, money, health, style and other issues, and listeners can call in to ask questions or voice their opinions.

“RadioWD connects our editors directly with our readers in a dynamic, interactive environment that brings blogging and discussion groups to the next level,” said Jane Chesnutt, SVP/Editor-in-Chief, Woman’s Day in a statement. “The launch of our own online radio station underscores the Woman’s Day commitment to innovation, and our continued mission to serve readers by delivering fresh, practical information and inspirations on the issues that matter most.”

Listeners can tune in to RadioWD at noon daily at www.blogtalkradio.com/radiowd or connect through the magazine’s Web site, www.womansday.com/radiowd.
