Reebok has named Tribal DDB New York its first global digital agency of record, effective in December, according to the agency. Tribal joins its sister agency DDB Berlin, which serves as global AOR, on the athletic shoe and apparel brand’s roster.
The two companies have not worked together before and the agency was named AOR after a trial period beginning in August 2010, according to Richard Guest, president of Tribal DDB US.
Work is scheduled to hit the marketing in the first quarter 2010 and will include digital strategy, design, social media and video.
Reebok could not be reached for comment.
