Rainforest Alliance says: Follow the Frog

As part of the Rainforest Alliance‘s annual “Follow the Frog” week in September, the international nonprofit took to YouTube with a cleverly scripted and delightful video that uses humor to educate viewers on tropical deforestation.

To help save the rainforest—all you have to do, the video explains, is “follow the frog” by buying Rainforest Alliance Certified products (A little green frog is part of the Rainforest Alliance’s official logo).

The Alliance encouraged its Twitter followers, of which there are more than 31,500, to share the video and “like” its Facebook page, where fans can read up on environmental news, get green tips, and sign up for a free four-month trial membership.

It’s a simple campaign centered on smart, subtly branded content—and it gives viewers an easy way to feel good.
