We believe that there is no more important measure of customer satisfaction than users’ behavior, and Yahoo!’s user engagement and metrics demonstrate very healthy satisfaction levels among our users.
Yahoo! is the only major Internet company to have its average time spent per user increase every quarter over the past year. We attribute this to our strength in connecting the world to the broad range of people and information they care about. Our new home page is centered around our users to help them make the most of their Internet time, and our research has shown that their overall customer satisfaction improved during the past year. In addition, total unique visitors, page views, minutes spent and average usage days per visitor on the Yahoo! home page have all increased since we launched our new design (Comscore MediaMetrix, April 2006 – July 2006).
