Interactive entertainment network eUniverse yesterday announced the launch of Performance Marketing Group, an online direct marketing company that will focus on designing, planning, implementing and optimizing advertising campaigns for online publishers, and PMG-VELOCITY, a division of PMG that aides companies in selling products on the Web.
According to eUniverse, PMG will provide online publishers the ability to promote eUniverse's best-of-breed products and services to their own audience.
PMG has already run campaigns with more than 400 online partners.
PMG-VELOCITY provides a marketing service by which companies can benefit from PMG's knowledge in campaign planning, testing, creative design, tracking and search engine optimization. In addition, PMG-VELOCITY can draw on PMG's network of more than 400 partners to garner fast product distribution online. Clients include Simply Wireless and Columbia House.
