DMN 40Under40 2018: Jordan Maddex, VP of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships, Jet Linx Aviation

This year’s group of DMN 40Under40 winners have a few things in common. Well yes, they’re under 40. Also they have a proven track record of marketing excellence and leadership, whether they’re in roles supporting global brands, or leading their own thriving start-ups. Over the next few weeks, you’ll get to know our winners, and what they’ve accomplished.

Jordan Maddex is the VP of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships at Jet Linx Aviation

What has been your proudest career accomplishment to date?

Our award-winning company magazine, SOAR. In four years, through the hard work and dedication of our internal marketing team (of three), we have built that publication from a 44-page elevated newsletter to a 136-page lifestyle magazine of the highest quality that truly represents for our brand, our culture, and our company. With each installment, we push further. And there is no greater feeling than to hear our team members and clients express how much they enjoy the content and design in each issue.

What’s the best piece of advice you can give to future 40Under40 honorees?

In marketing and beyond…if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right. This simple principle clarifies priorities and expectations.

What do you hope to accomplish in the next five years?

I plan to continue to build and lead incredible, well-rounded, in-house marketing teams.

What is one interesting fact about you that few people know?

I’m a three-time shavee for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to raising money to fund the gap in children’s cancer research. I’m a three-time top fundraiser at the Omaha-area annual event – each time I took the chair!
