Who it is: Matt Ackley, named CMO of advertising management platform provider Marin Software

What’s his role: Ackley will be responsible for overseeing global marketing.

Where was he prior: Previously, Ackley was managing director of media and platforms market development at Google. Prior to Google, he was VP of advertising and internet marketing at eBay.

What’s his Role: Hicks will oversee all marketing strategies and operations.

Where was he prior: Prior to joining Bandwidth, he served as senior VP of The Marketing Store and Arc Worldwide.

Who it is: Michelle Accardi-Petersen, named CMO of business communications provider Star2Star Communications

What’s her role: She will be responsible for leading Star2Star’s overall marketing strategy and integrated marketing initiatives including corporate marketing, digital marketing and product marketing.

Where was she prior: Accardi-Petersen previously worked as head of Digital Marketing at CA Technologies.

Who it is:  Peter Finter, named CMO of traffic visability solutions provider Gigamon

What’s his role: Finter will focus on developing and advancing the company’s marketing objectives worldwide.

Where was he prior: Prior to joining Gigamon, Finter served as VP of Marketing for Juniper Networks, leading their Worldwide Field Demand Center.

Who it is: Matthew Boyle, named CMO of accounting firm Alexander, Aronson, Finning and Co. (AAF).

What’s his role: Boyle will manage all aspects of the firm’s marketing operations.

Where was he prior: Boyle has worked in marketing and sales for Steelcase, Compuware, and Dun & Bradstreet. He most recently served as a marketing executive and partner for the Massachusetts accounting firm of Moody, Famiglietti & Andronico.
