BMG Music Services has named List Technology Systems Group's LTS List Management Services division as list manager for its mailing lists and Singer Direct Inc. as alternative media manager for its package insert programs.
Both appointments, announced yesterday, take effect June 8.
The BMG database consists of about 10 million music club buyers in five genre-based clubs. They are the classical club, Encore; the BMG Jazz Club; the Christian club, Sound & Spirit; the pop/rock club, BMG Music Service; and the Latin club, Ritmo Y Pasion.
The files are highly selectable and enhanced with demographic and lifestyle data. Data cards will be available from LTSG after it takes over the files.
The BMG alternative media program consists of more than 100 million package inserts annually.
The lists are currently available through American List Counsel, Princeton, NJ.
