Automated Resources Group International LLC, Montvale, NJ, said yesterday that it signed a licensing agreement with Alterian, Chicago, a provider of database marketing and customer insight solutions.
ARGI serves marketers in several industries with a concentration in publishing. It will use Alterian Marketing Suite and Alterian List Manager 2.0 to power its database marketing and data sales solutions, which span list management, hygiene and brokerage services as well as analytics, data append and marketing database design.
Alterian Marketing Suite lets marketers work with detailed customer-level data through each phase of the process — from segmentation and analysis to campaign planning, execution and measurement — to exploit opportunities more effectively and increase response rates as well as improve customer retention and lifetime value.
List Manager 2.0 lets marketing service providers such as ARGI have an affordable list management, rental and order-fulfillment solution. A complete application developed on Microsoft's .NET platform, List Manager 2.0 offers list and data sales organizations an alternative to building proprietary list management and fulfillment systems.
ARGI expects to deploy its first customers on the Alterian-powered platform in first-quarter 2005.
