Acxiom, Conway, AR, announced last week the general release of the Acxiom Data Network (ADN), a desktop data delivery product. ADN gives users Internet access to Acxiom's InfoBase enhancement products for analysis, profiling and segmentation of data for direct marketing campaigns.
The release follows a six-week evaluation period during which a select group of businesses were able to try out ADN for no charge. InfoBase Enhancements will be available for a monthly minimum of $59.95. Future releases of ADN will enable users to integrate data directly into Web pages, call centers, point-of-sale applications and sales force automation software.
Acxiom's proposed merger with May & Speh, Downers Grove, IL, has gained approval from the Antitrust Division of the Federal Trade Commission. The merger, which still requires SEC clearance and shareholder approval, is expected to close shortly after shareholder meetings are held in mid-September.
