SR.Teleperformance merged two of its Midwest subsidiaries into a new teleservices operation, Americall Group Inc., with 16 call centers and 1,600 workstations in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri, the conglomerate said yesterday.
The new entity will have 4,200 employees and expected revenue of $90 million in 2003, SR.Teleperformance said. SR.Teleperformance merged its Americall Corp., Naperville, IL, and Business Response Inc., St. Louis, subsidiaries to form the new outfit.
Americall, with 13 centers in Illinois and Indiana, has been in operation since 1984 and specializes in sales programs for financial and insurance clients. Business Response, with four centers in Missouri, specializes in customer service and loyalty programs.
George Kestler, former president of Americall, was named president of the newly consolidated subsidiary. Donald Kornblet, former president of Business Response, was named vice president.
