J. Crew Group Inc. reported yesterday that retail sales climbed 35 percent in the third quarter ended Oct. 30.
Retail sales for the New York-based multichannel apparel marketer totaled $154 million in the quarter. Same-store sales rose 30 percent. Internet and catalog sales gained 47 percent, totaling $47 million.
The company's net loss for the quarter was $10 million, compared with a net loss of $24 million for the same period last year.
