Talbots Inc., Hingham, MA, chose Snyder Communications Inc.'s circle.com subsidiary to help develop an e-commerce site it hopes to have open in time for the holiday shopping season. The retailer and cataloger of women's apparel will carry on with its current ad campaign, called “It's a Classic,” on the site. Circle.com becomes Talbots' interactive agency of record with the e-commerce pact. The agency, which forecasts its total revenue to exceed $40 million this year, specializes in building online businesses for large companies and start-ups. A related Snyder firm, Arnolds Communications, developed Talbot's advertising theme. The site is to be located at www.talbots.com.
