Superpages.com to Become MSN's Yellow Pages Service

SuperPages.com will become MSN's Yellow Pages service under an agreement with Verizon Information Services.

The move will expand the online business directory and shopping resource's reach to the portal's 230 million unique visitors.

SuperPages' Yellow Pages section lists 14 million businesses, including 100,000 paying advertisers.

Although SuperPages has agreements with Lycos and other portals, MSN will be the site's “single largest external partner in driving traffic to our Yellow Pages section,” said Heidi Jaquish, a spokeswoman for Dallas-based Verizon.

“This relationship with MSN spells value for our customers whose business information will now be accessible to MSN's millions of online users,” said Patrick Marshall, group vice president of marketing for Verizon Information Services.
