Ruf Strategic Solutions, Olathe, KS, said yesterday that it entered into a licensing agreement with infoUSA Inc., Omaha, NE, and Donnelley Marketing Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of infoUSA.
The agreement allows business units of infoUSA and Donnelley Marketing, providers of business-to-business marketing data, to sell data products and analytical services based on Ruf Strategic Solutions' proprietary business cluster technology.
Ruf Business Clusters offer business-to-business target marketing analysis that goes beyond the traditional company demographics — such as SIC code, number of employees and years in business — to include more sophisticated demographics such as econometric footprints and corporate interdependencies.
According to Ruf, the agreement allows infoUSA and Donnelley to facilitate their ability to directly provide value-added services to their clients, leveraging their data with clusters exclusive to the infoUSA business universe. For example, data-licensing clients can now receive Ruf Business Clusters as data enrichment elements to empower internal modeling or customer relationship management applications.
