RouteOne Picks Zentropy for Credit App

RouteOne LLC, a joint venture by four leading automakers, named MRM Partners Worldwide-owned interactive agency Zentropy Partners, Hollywood, CA, as one of three firms to standardize the online credit application process.

Four interactive agencies pitched for the business. There was no incumbent.

A collaboration among rivals, RouteOne is a joint venture of Ford Motor Credit Co., GMAC, DaimlerChrysler Services and Toyota Financial Services.

Zentropy will create a user interface for the system after interviewing auto dealers nationwide. To encourage early adoption, the company has sought the opinions of dealership sales managers and other executives. The dealerships vary in size, revenue, technical skill and location.

Covansys Corp. is designing the Web-based system, and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young is managing the project.

“What the dealers really like about this is that they can take one credit application and send it to multiple financial services,” said Brad Carse, Troy, MI-based vice president and group director of Zentropy.
