RichFX Inc. introduced a new version of its Rich Catalog online catalog solution yesterday that allows for dynamic page mixing functionality, allowing retailers to add or remove pages more easily.
This functionality of Rich Catalog v3.0 not only enables the creation of an unlimited number of online-only catalogs from a print book, it helps create smaller online-only subsections of large catalogs to aid targeted campaigns based on customer segments. Retailers can select pages from a pool of online catalog pages to create online-only derivative versions. This avoids redesigning, repurposing and reprinting an existing print catalog.
Also, primary user interface components like the left and top navigation areas can be moved to nontraditional locations or even permanently removed. Another customization feature accommodates catalog sizes beyond standard-page dimensions. Rich Catalog v3.0 incorporates Macromedia's Flash branding elements in any color, size or shape of the retailer's choice.
