Reader’s Digest Association Far East Ltd., yesterday acquired Benchmark Ltd., a four-year-old publisher of four investment publications distributed in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore, and a Web site (www.benchmag.com). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Reader’s Digest Association’s worldwide revenues for fiscal 1998 were $2.6 billion.
