The Reader's Digest Association Inc., Pleasantville, NY, said yesterday that it has transferred list management duties for its files to American List Counsel Inc., Princeton, NJ. The move is part of a strategic growth initiative, including new selections and enhanced modeling.
Some files in the Reader's Digest family of lists include Reader's Digest magazine, American Woodworker, New Choices and Walking magazine. Reader's Digest magazine alone has more than 6 million active subscribers.
New selects, such as Web-enabled households and non-sweeps-generated names, will be available in the future. Data cards and recommendations can be obtained through ALC.
