Sybase Inc., a customer relationship management vendor, said yesterday that North Jersey Media Group, Hackensack, NJ, has bought Industry Warehouse Studio for Media, an analytical CRM solution to strengthen relationships with business partners, advertisers and subscribers.
North Jersey Media, a publisher of 21 daily and weekly newspapers, will use the Sybase solution to build an enterprise data warehouse that will include CRM and business performance analytics such as demographic and lifestyle profiling, direct mail, telemarketing, cost-revenue analysis, customer care, retention, sales revenue analysis and clickstream analysis.
Sybase, Emeryville, CA, designed the media CRM solution for multimedia organizations as the industry continues to grow and evolve. For example, many newspapers are becoming critical components of larger organizations that include cable, entertainment, Internet, radio and specialty publications.
