Neoware Starts Branding, DM Effort

Neoware Systems Inc., a supplier of services and appliances for thin client computing, rolled out a campaign yesterday to expand the thin client segment of the personal computer market.

20nine Design Studios, Broomall, PA, conceived the campaign, called “Wouldn't it be Great,” to communicate the benefits of thin client computing to corporate IT decision makers.

The campaign will be reflected in a series of ads, direct mail, Web banner ads and a refresh of Neoware's Web presence in coming months.

Thin client appliances are alternatives to personal computers used by businesses. With thin client computing, applications are stored on servers, not on individual personal computers, and are “streamed” to desktops via wired or wireless networks.

“Thin client computing's time has come,” said Michael Kantrowitz, chairman/CEO of Neoware, King of Prussia, PA. “As the leader in our industry, Neoware is now taking an active role to evangelize the benefits of a thin client architecture to corporate IT decision makers.”
