eBay today announced the appointment of Craig Hayman as president of eBay Enterprise, its e-commerce solutions business that comprises the Magento platform. Hayman spent the last 15 years at IBM, most recently as general manager of SaaS and industry solutions.
Over the past four years Hayman was a driving force behind IBM’s acquisition of companies such as Silverpop, DemandTec, Unica, and Sterling Commerce. Earlier, he led Big Blue’s WebSphere business and served as VP of Strategy for the company’s software group.
“We are fortunate to have Craig join our leadership team,” eBay President and CEO John Donahoe said in a release announcing the appointment. “Craig’s experience will enhance our ability to serve retailers and brands in this online to offline world.”
