Group 1 Software, Lanham, MD, announced yesterday the release of its DataSight data quality solution that is designed to provide enterprisewide correction, validation, and enhancement of customer, prospect and supplier data.
According to Group 1, by consolidating disparate data to achieve an accurate single customer view, DataSight lets companies increase operational efficiency, make more informed business decisions and maximize customer lifetime value and return on investment from customer relationship management initiatives.
DataSight's technology, according to Group 1, which can be applied to name and address as well as nonname and address data, provides extraction and acquisition, standardization, parsing, householding and user-defined consolidation. This functionality, available in both real-time and batch modes, offers businesses an integrated enterprisewide view of all customer-focused data.
The solution also offers global address verification, supporting more than 220 countries and dependencies worldwide.
DataSight also supports a variety of extract, transform and load solutions for organizations that wish to integrate data quality and data transformation. For example, DataSight can also be packaged with Informatica Corp.'s data integration technology.
