Apparel and blanket manufacturer Pendleton Woolen Mills has engaged Fry Inc. to replatform, design and host its Web site, www.pendleton-usa.com.
The new site is scheduled to launch this summer and will use Fry’s Open Commerce Platform with the intention of expanding Pendleton’s e-commerce business and allowing its small staff to better manage merchandising and promotions. The platform will be integrated with CommercialWare’s CWDirect Order Management as part of an overall cross-channel strategy. Both Fry and CommercialWare are divisions of Micros Systems Inc.
Pendleton, which distributes its products via Pendleton catalogs, online, at department stores and its own retail outlets, is celebrating its 100th year in business in 2009.
