Experian, an information solutions provider, has restructured its business information solutions unit.
Experian said it is putting new strategies into place to meet the needs of a changing marketplace and is centralizing all business-to-business-related functions at its Orange, CA, headquarters.
Areas of concentration include creation of business development and strategic alliance organizations to work closely with industries targeted for growth opportunities, including financial services, equipment leasing, food services, collection, advertising media and transportation.
In addition, Experian is focused on creating strategic alliances and partnerships — including activities such as product integration, joint marketing and co-selling to targeted accounts — to reach a broader set of markets. A new e-commerce strategy and product enhancements are also on the agenda.
