Draft Chicago Bolsters Retail, Promotions

Increased client spending persuaded Draft Inc.'s Chicago office to combine its account groups under one account services umbrella even as the direct marketing agency expands its retail and promotions offerings overseas.

As part of this move, Bill Gorski becomes chief account services officer, moving up from executive vice president and head of direct marketing at Draft Chicago. Tina Manikas is chief global retail and promotion marketing officer, promoted from executive vice president and director of retail and promotions.

“By consolidating our direct, promotion, retail, health and digital account teams under one account services offering, we can better work together with our clients to achieve the best possible, media-neutral solutions,” Draft Chicago president/CEO Yvonne Furth said in a statement. Gorski and Manikas will report directly to Furth.

Gorski is to continue developing new and incremental revenue, maintain and grow key accounts and boost operational efficiency at Draft Chicago. Manikas is expected to lead, strengthen and grow Draft Chicago's retail and promotions services domestically as well as parlay that expertise abroad to other Draft shops. Draft currently handles Nokia's retail and promotions marketing worldwide.

Draft Chicago is one of the leading agencies, along with Draft New York, within the Draft Inc. global network. Interpublic Group of Companies Inc., New York, owns Draft Inc.
