Michael R. Mazzone Jr. has established direct marketing firm Mazzone Marketing Group LLC. The owner and president, Mr. Mazzone started the firm to develop as a professional, have the opportunity to grow a company, provide jobs in his hometown of Brooklyn, NY, and serve clients in New York City and beyond.
He said that his first job in the industry was in a mailroom. He moved into sales and management and became a founding partner of Complete Mailing Lists.
“Going out on my own is the next step,” Mr. Mazzone said. “I love the direct marketing industry and can’t wait to grow my company, help my community and serve old friends and new clients. This is a dream come true.”
Mr. Mazzone has 15 years of direct marketing industry experience. Before forming Mazzone Marketing Group, he was the founding partner of Complete Mailing Lists and worked for Hugo Dunhill Mailing Lists and Stevens Knox & Associates.
He is a member of the Direct Marketing Club of New York and served as a member of the board of directors from 2004 to 2006. He serves as a special adviser to the club’s board and formerly served on the lists and databases special interest council of the Direct Marketing Association.
He is joined at his new company by director of sales Lawrence Rizzo, director of sales and marketing Michael McNamara and sales assistant Bryan Doyle.
The firm specializes in compiling specialty, business-to-business and consumer prospect lists.
Mr. Mazzone said companies and individuals looking to contact donors, state-licensed professionals, business owners and medical professionals may find his firm useful.
