Call center service agency CustomerAsset said yesterday that it will provide teleservices support for Ebookers, a European online travel agency.
CustomerAsset's call center in Bangalore, India, will provide inbound sales support to Ebookers customers in the United Kingdom. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Ebookers, London, contracted with CustomerAsset to support its efforts to grow its back-end operations in New Delhi, India, according to CustomerAsset. Before signing the contract, Ebookers tested CustomerAsset's operations against its own European call centers.
CustomerAsset is hiring telephone sales agents in India, who receive two months training in the sale of travel products. The teleservices agency also has upgraded its telecommunications structure to receive calls placed to Ebookers.
