The Canadian Marketing Association announced yesterday a formal affiliation with the Association of Internet Marketing & Sales, Canada's largest Internet marketing organization.
Each group will have representation on the other's board of directors. AIMS will work with its 6,500 members to implement the CMA's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
The CMA and AIMS, both based in Toronto, are unaffiliated with the U.S. Direct Marketing Association or its subsidiary organization, the Association for Interactive Marketing.
