Opus Stuff, the merchandising division of Opus Event Marketing, Richmond, VA, announced the opening of a Manhattan office to be known as Opus New York. The new satellite location will bring what the company calls its “let's play” business approach to the New York City area.
“Opus New York is both a timely response to our clients' needs and an important step in the evolution of our agency,” said spokeswoman Any Stefanovich. “We are thrilled to bring our unique brand of 3D creative thinking to a leading hub of creativity.”
Jennifer Ebert, former director of Opus' public relations division and Robb Pair, creative director and partner of Opus Stuff, will co-head the office, which is expected to provide clients with strategic and concept development, program production, creative consulting and merchandise innovation.
Opus specializes in creating and executing strategic programs designed to enhance product and brand image through innovative events and specialized promotions. One of the company's philosophies is that “play” dissolves communications barriers and allows consumers to bond to brands.
The Gap Inc., Philip Morris USA, Merck Pharmaceuticals and Avon Products are among its many big name clients.
