ARTISTdirect Inc., an online music network that connects fans directly with artists, said yesterday that it has signed an agreement with ad serving network L90 and will use the company's adMonitor technology to serve and track marketing campaigns and banner ads.
L90 said its adMonitor service was developed specifically with Web publishers in mind and works in conjunction with ProfiTools, a suite of digital marketing tools that monetizes Web site inventory. Databases include sponsorships, rich media and direct marketing components, as well as traditional banner advertisements.
The company's adMonitor service enables users to target and track campaigns and manage real-time inventory. Its direct marketing capabilities include serving and tracking of opt-in newsletter sponsorships, viral marketing programs, direct e-mail marketing, user registration and opt-in consumer profiling. adMonitor currently serves about 7 billion impressions a month, L90 said.
