America Online, Dulles, VA, debuted its House and Home Channel yesterday. The new channel will feature tools, content and e-commerce services focused on home management.
Under a previous agreement, Homestore.com will provide much of the content for the channel, including information on home decorating, security, hardware, and lawn and garden.
The channel will run special holiday promotions featuring holiday crafts, party food ideas and fall cleanup tips. Visitors to the site also will have the opportunity to enter Homestore.com’s $100,000 Celebrity Home Makeover sweepstakes. The winner will receive $100,000 to remodel his home.
