Former Tonight Show co-host and DRTV spokesperson Ed McMahon has died at 86. Most well-known in the DRTV world for his sweepstakes commercials (for American Family Publishers, not Publisher’s Clearing House as was often assumed), McMahon last appeared in a DRTV spot during Super Bowl XLIII for Cash4Gold.com.
