Transmedia Asia Pacific and Transmedia Europe announced a merger agreement yesterday. Subject to approval by shareholders of each company, the merger is expected to be completed by the second quarter. Transmedia Asia Pacific will issue one share of common stock for each of Transmedia Europe’s 35 million shares outstanding. The two companies provide customized online and offline membership products and services, including online shopping, travel, leisure, data and voice communication, healthcare and helpline services.
