IBM, White Plains, NY, and AT&T, Basking Ridge, NJ, said on Friday the companies plan to provide wireless access to key corporate information, including Internet, corporate Intranets and corporate databases. IBM will combine its software and services with AT&T’s wireless Internet Protocol network. This will allow business customers to access data and programs over cell phones, laptop computers and handheld devices. The service is expected to be available later this year.
