Advertisers on online directory YellowPages.com can have their ads distributed across Yahoo Local and Yahoo Yellow Pages as part of the two companies' new agreement.
YellowPages.com, Pasadena, CA, a joint venture between AT&T Inc. and BellSouth Corp., said last week that “select” advertisers that buy a YellowPages.com ad package will be distributed across Yahoo Local and Yahoo Yellow Pages as sponsored search results.
“Yahoo's large and loyal user base, as well as a strong brand … brings significant value and benefit to YellowPages.com advertisers,” YellowPages.com president/CEO Charles Stubbs said in a statement.
YellowPages.com also has distribution agreements with AOL Yellow Pages and Switchboard.
