Yahoo will Webcast a live concert performance of pop music group, Backstreet Boys', on March 23.
The Webcast, which is scheduled to be shown from 8:30 to about 11:30 p.m E.T. , will cover the group's last stop in Mexico City of their two-month, 24-city “Black & Blue World Tour”.
Yahoo! next week will begin publicizing the event through banners on its Yahoo Music, Mail and Chat pages and on undisclosed video and audio channels.
Leading up to the Webcast, fans will be directed to the concert home page, http://backstreetboys.yahoo.com, where they will be able to link to the group's Website, www.backstreetboys.com. Consumers will also be directed to Yahoo Music, which will feature group photos of the band and other related content and Yahoo Shopping, where they may purchase promotional merchandise and the group's CD “Black & Blue.”
The Webcast is being produced by Yahoo Broadcast.
