The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team said Friday that Yahoo Sports will be the team’s exclusive Internet Services sponsor.
As part of the agreement, several online events and event coverage will take place across Yahoo’s network. In addition, an online sweepstakes will run through March 10 on Yahoo Sports. Users will be offered an opportunity to register for a chance to win a trip to the Chevy Truck U.S. Alpine Championship in Jackson Hole, WY, March 24-26.
In addition, Yahoo will host live chats with U.S. Ski and Snowboard team athletes beginning March 23. Banner advertisement across Yahoo’s network will promote the team, and Yahoo Store will auction authentic merchandise.
Yahoo will receive exposure on several television networks as well as on-site marketing rights at Ski and Snowboard Association events.
