The World Wide Retail Exchange, a business-to-business exchange for retailers and suppliers, said yesterday that it has selected Click2learn's Aspen Enterprise Learning Platform for a global training initiative.
According to the two companies, the software will let WWRE offer members specialized training on group purchasing, auction circuits, private label orders and other global procurement programs.
Retailers and suppliers can use Aspen to record and share information and experiences related to WWRE's global procurement systems and processes, and WWRE can capture and analyze this feedback for continuous improvement.
WWRE said it has bought the full Aspen product suite, which will let it use Aspen's integrated learning management, learning content management and collaborative capabilities.
Click2learn is a provider of enterprise software for Global 2000 organizations.
