The World Wrestling Federation Entertainment Inc., Stamford, CT, and Worlds.com yesterday said they have a revenue sharing agreement in which Worlds.com will provide a three-dimensional virtual reality Internet site for the WWF.
The terms of the contract call for Worlds.com to design and integrate a co-branded re-creation of the WWF’s Times Square New York restaurant in a 3D environment on the WWF Internet site during the first quarter of 2001.
The site will provide visitors with the opportunity to experience and buy anything they would be able to at the actual restaurant.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed but a statement from both companies said they would be sharing advertising and e-commerce revenues.
Worlds.com, Old Greenwich, CT, is a virtual reality Internet portal.
