Information provider LexisNexis has hired Wunderman, New York, as its lead direct marketing and advertising agency for its U.S. Legal Markets group.
The agency’s New York office will develop integrated marketing and advertising campaigns targeting the legal profession.
“The real challenge is to use marketing to advance their brand in the marketplace, and by marketing I mean end-to-end marketing,” said Steve Zammarchi, president/CEO of Wunderman.
There was no incumbent agency on the account. At least three agencies made it to the final round of pitches. Billings or fees were not disclosed.
The campaigns will focus on end-to-end solutions LexisNexis can offer its customers for legal workflows. LexisNexis’ legal services include client development, research, litigation offerings and practice management.
Wunderman will break the campaigns in six to eight weeks.
LexisNexis is part of Reed Elsevier. Its offerings include the Web-based Lexis and Nexis research services to customers in the legal, risk management, government, law enforcement, accounting, corporate and academic markets.
