Work for the Automobile Association's roadside assistance program in Britain won Harrison Troughton Wunderman, London, the first Direct Lions awarded by the Cannes Festivals.
Called “Hitchhiker,” the direct mail piece for the AA was one of 17 Direct Lions awarded to British entries. All told, 43 Direct Lions were awarded.
