WorldLink International, Los Angeles, a DRTV media sales rep firm, was named the exclusive rep for DRTV spot and infomercial sales for MGM Latin America.
MGM Latin America and sister network MGM Gold Brazil reach 7.3 million subscribers with such U.S. programs as “The Outer Limits” and “thirtysomething” and movies.
The added subscriber base means that WorldLink represent networks reaching a total of 15 million Latin American TV households, said Toni Knight, president of WorldLink. It also has rep agreements with Columbia Tri-Star, which reaches 8 million subscribers on the AXN network in Latin America and Brazil. It also represents Fox Sports Americas, Canal Fox, Fox Kids, Bravo Brazil and Film & Arts in Latin America.
