Worldata Issues Latest List Price Index

List broker and database manager Worldata, Boca Raton, FL, yesterday released the latest edition of the List Price Index, which provides data on the costs of renting list media by marketing category. The LPI data includes information on the highest- and lowest-priced lists, in addition to plotting year-over-year changes of list prices.

The data, which was based on prices obtained from the April SRDS, revealed that prices increased in 11 of the 13 categories tracked. The databases/masterfiles category showed the largest price increase, at 6.5 percent, followed by consumer book buyers, which had a 5.9-percent increase.

The company said its next issue, which will be based on the June SRDS, will include a new category for e-mail lists.
