World Marketing Inc., a provider of integrated direct marketing solutions for Fortune 1000 companies, bought AMS ResponseFinancial. Terms were not disclosed.
Dallas, TX-based World Marketing develops and delivers turnkey strategic and production services including, lettershop and fulfillment services, database, analytics and creative. WMI works with some of the nation’s leading marketers including: American Airlines, Kraft, Bloomingdales, Omaha Steaks, E*Trade, Bristol-Myers Squibb and ABN AMRO.
AMS Response is a full service direct mail marketing company that specializes in customer acquisition programs and products . It is based in Armaount, CA.
AMS operations and staff will be merged into Dallas-based World Marketing’s new facility in La Mirada, CA.
AMS president, Tom Duchene, will take serve as vice president, business development for World Marketing – Los Angeles. He reports to Mac Rodgers, president/CEO of World Marketing.
The merger will create one of the largest direct marketing companies in the Southern California market, the companies said.
The acquisition is the latest move by World Marketing to increase the scale of its capabilities to meet the needs of its customer base.
Earlier this year, World Marketing completed an acquisition of MBS, a leading database marketing company.
