Winstar Interactive Media Adds Three Branded Sites to Its Lineup

Winstar Interactive Media said Friday that it has been named the exclusive online advertising sales representative for branded Web sites Kiplinger.com, Emode and PlayMGMMirage.com.

The company said it will offer the three sites joint sales with radio stations, sweepstakes, billboards and sponsored messages delivered through e-mail to hand-held devices and cell phones.

Kiplinger.com is an interactive personal finance portal. Emode is a personality marketing company and provides an e-mail newsletter geared toward the subscriber's personality. PlayMGMMirage.com is an adult gaming site offering casino games.

“With a large sales force focused on selling our site alone, we anticipate much greater revenue than we got from an ad network,” said Larry Fishbein, director of marketing and new media at Kiplinger.com.

Interep Interactive Inc., a division of Interep National Radio Sales, recently acquired New York-based Winstar Interactive Media. Winstar Interactive Media generates advertising sales and creates sponsorships and content syndication packages for 21 branded Web publishers, including Fodors.com and uBid.
