The New York chapter of Women in Direct Marketing International Inc. said yesterday that it named Citigroup's Lisa Caputo as its Direct Marketing Woman of the Year for 2005.
The award will be given to Caputo at a dinner in her honor Nov. 15 at The Yale Club in New York.
Caputo is president/CEO of Women and Company, a division of Citigroup Inc. that focuses on women's financial concerns. She also serves as senior managing director of the company's Global Consumer Group.
Prior to joining Citigroup, Caputo was vice president for Disney Publishing and CBS Corp. She also acted as deputy assistant to the president of the United States and press secretary to Hillary Rodham Clinton.
