Warner Bros. to Promote ‘Green Mile’ Movie Online

Warner Bros. signed a deal to promote its upcoming movie “The Green Mile” through www.hsx.com, a promotions site operated by Hollywood Stock Exchange Inc., Los Angeles. The site reports traffic totaling 800,000 visitors a month.

Don Buckley, senior vice president of theatrical marketing and new media at Warner Bros., said the site’s focus on the movie industry and its strong male audience made the agreement ideal to promote “The Green Mile.”

Warner Bros. expects the film to have a slightly stronger draw among women. “The HSX deal gives us a nice opportunity to balance that out a bit,” he said. n
